Michele de Winton - I always kiss and tell.
Hi I'm Michele, and words are my drug.
I love writing. Almost more than chocolate. And I love knowing others are reading my work (way to build up a girls ego!) and I'm loving my all the great feedback you romance readers provide. Thanks! I've been on a cruise buzz the past while - you can find pics of me "practicing" after having sailed to Tonga on Facebook. The second in my Love on Deck series is out now with Entangled Indulgence and book three is just around the corner, AND there is more sunshine in this girl yet. I've got a few other series ready in the wings. More when there is more.
You'll no doubt have noticed the silence of late - sorry! Life with two small boys has been more demanding than a possum with a sore throat - and for those of you who don't know what that means, be happy for your ears ;-) An exciting collaboration was a nice way to end 2014 though, a linked Christmas bundle title with my Texan buddy Carmen Falcone. Its got all the glamor of a proper New York Christmas, a little suspense and plenty of steamy smexy times! Fun.
Many thanks to the other writers who have read and helped hone my work towards publication. (If you're keen on writing as well as reading romance, get thee to a critique group or at least find someone else who loves the genre and can offer you honest, and maybe even brutal, feedback.)
In all my writing l I like my heroines smart and sassy. Maybe it's a reflection of the women around me, but I'm a firm believer that women can do anything and so my heroines are the same. It doesn't mean my men are wimps though! You can count on some fine looking heroes who know just how to make a woman melt. I'm a hopeless romantic though, so get ready for some seriously happy endings.
I also like pretty things. Okay, maybe not pretty. I like things that move me, images that are sharp with a little edge and I love good design. So you might find my blog sometimes filled with an image of...a chair. What's that got to do with writing? Everything. I think that where and how we live has a huge impact on who we are, and what we surround ourselves with often shines out in our comments and work. Also, we're building a house soon (OMG, what were we thinking) and we appeared in an interiors books for my dodgy handiwork with a paintbrush (you can find pics on my blog). I hope you enjoy some of the style/DIY/interiors chat as much as all the stuff about writing!
Anyways, thanks again for visiting my website. I'd love to hear from you, here or on facebook or twitter. And you can sign up for my newsletter anytime.
Have a great day and happy reading!
